Has anyone noticed that they brought PeeWee Herman's show back? It's on Adult Swim at like 11:00pm. What do you all think about this? I hated it when I was a kid, and I sure can't stand it now! Why would they put that back on the air? I sure don't want my son to watch it, but I was just curious if there are enough adults out there wanting it on at night, for them to bring it back!

Paul Ruebens is his name, and he is a pretty talented actor...he played in "Blow" with Johnny Depp, and it is a pretty darn good movie!

I think they bring stuff like that out just for a laugh, i mean, a few months ago they were showing Saved by the Bell. I agree with you, no kid should have to watch PeeWee, I think that's why it's on AdultSwim.

Honestly, I think I will apriciate it more as an adult. The orginal cable show was NOT for children... but it was adapted and became a huge hit. There are a lot of gags that only grow-ups would understand.
I LOVE the moive. It was the first feature-length film for Tim Burton and the first time he worked with Danny Elfman on the score.

I loved it then and I love it now, but on a different level.
No one writes kids shows anymore that an adult can enjoy watching, so parents just park their kids in front of the TV and don't pay any attention to what they're watching.
I'm taping the shows and giving them to a friend with young children. They LOVE it.
BTW - Pee Wee was caught touching himself in an adult movie theater. He wasn't molesting children. He didn't have kiddie porn in his home. He was just an adult male touching himself while watching adult porn. If that makes him a danger to society, we'd have more men in jail than out.

They could care less about pee wee Herman's past. Their bottom line is can we get ratings.
This is a new generation who knows nothing about his past. And hoping the now adults either don't remember or don't care and allow their children to watch.

I saw that, I really didn't care for it either as a child. I definitely won't be tuning in for PeeWee, but Family Guy will still get my attention!

Well i dint have any kids cause I'm 15 but i really don't like that show and i have a nephew and hes just turned 1 and I hope he never watches it when he gets to be older because i really don't want that sh** to be in his head.

who knows,I always found the show to be harmless but stupid.I think everyone is holding the incident of him being in an adult movie theatre masterbating against him.I think what ever he did on his own time was his own buisiness and as long as he didn't involve children in any of it he should be left alone.

peewee was annoying when I was growing up but I liked his movies. the laughter pisses me off and the word of the day - i never got that.
