It depend on the type of job that you have, like if you getting paid a good amount of money I suggest that u should ustick for a while if it doesn't work out for u bail it. and make sure that u have a second plan

Suck it up and stay. Don't let the jerk win. You should always work a full notice. If not, he gets to out something nasty in your file that you did not give a full notice.
Now if he is abusive, complain to HR. What are they going to do, fire you? Good luck!
