Mrs. Higgs. She taught English in my small-town elementary and junior high school. Her motto was "I will trust you until you prove differently." I have never forgotten her and I am 53 years young.

Mr T (Or Mr Thompson) was my Music Teacher. A HUGE hairy scots man with the old rockers hair - he was brilliant and really helped me find my way with music and a bit of the amateur dramatics. One hell of a character, he used to hate all the other teachers, sit in his office smoking roll ups offering all the kids round him a cup of tea. Bloody brilliant

My favorite teacher was Mr Ramdev, who always told some jokes, and funny stories.
His class was not boring though he was the math teacher. In addition, he used to encourage for the math problem even on the way. I liked him because of motivation and curiocity that he aroused within me.

The teacher I had in baby infants and fourth class, i really liked her because she was firm but fair like we had great fun in her class but at the same time no one was disruptive in class because she would go crazy....she kinda had the pupils respect, you know she is just one of those teachers that only needs to be in a room of kids to silence them...I just wish I knew her secret!!

Mr Thomas (Maths).

No gizmos, no gimmicks but I love Maths because of him!

Never forget one lesson when I was sitting on the front row and he was standing right in front of me with his flies open and I couldn't stop laughing!

He made me stand up and demanded I tell the class what I was laughing at.

I kept saying "I really think I should tell you outside, Sir" - never did cave in and tell him why although he would probably have laughed.

Sadly he died far too young from a heart attack.

I often wonder what he would make of my lessons LOL

Kx (Head of Maths)

Mr Thomas - known as Delmy. Because he took time out to talk to you individually, he lent me books and encouraged me with my interests, he also did things like take us to the Adult Evening class he taught to meet older adults studying the same stuff. He also went to the pub with us when we were in the sixth year and had a few pints! Good old Delmy!
