Quote the Constitution where God is, so I can look it up because it's not here...
I do recall another set of rules, one of which is:
"thou shalt not lie"; so what will you do now, liar?
Addendum: For those of you who actually believe this guy when he says God is referenced in the US Constitution multiple times, please click on the link and look for yourself instead of believing anything anyone says.
Also, when God is referenced in the Declaration of Independence, it is not any specific god but Nature's God.
More: I can't believe what I'm hearing!! Aren't you people Americans? No state sanction of religion, separation of church and state? hello? Don't you know that "In God we Trust" was first put on the currency during the Civil War (originally it just said E Pluribus Unum)? Don't you know that the phrase "under God" was added to the Pledge during the 1950's (originally it was one nation, indivisible)? Moving towards religion and state union is moving AWAY from the founding fathers, not towards them. Don't believe me, look it up, please look it up!

The word god does not exist in the Constitution of the United States. If you actually research it.
Not in the seven Articles, not in the preface, not in the Bill of Rights, nor in the subsequent amendments. In fact the word god doesn't appear in the Federalist Papers (Nos. 10 & 51), nor the Articles of Confederation, and only occurs in the Declaration of Independence once:
"When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's GOD entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation."
You will note that this sentence does not imply that god is to be a part of any government of Man (the wording is important). This does not just say God - it says Nature's God.

What are you talking about? God is not mentioned once in the US Constitution. Check below yourself.
Creator is only mentioned in the Declaration of Independence. Who is that creator? The Christian God? Mother Nature? Our own ideas of our existence?
My suggestion is stop digesting all the religious zealots you've been listening to feed you, and do a little investigation for yourself.

Because due to the influx of "political correctness" people think it is easier to take God out of government and our schools and the public eye all together so no one gets offended.
It is too bad, in my opinion, that some people literally do want to rewrite our founding fathers' words. God is in the Declaration of Independence as well.
Mere mentions of God do not promote any particular religion or the establishment of a "state religion" which is what the provision in the Bill of Rights prohibits, so I don't know why people get so worked up about it. But that is just my opinion.

When the founding fathers refer to God they do not refer to a specific God. Remember freedom of Religion. You can not put a specific God in our government that is not what the founding fathers wanted. A lot of them were Masons and did not believe that Jesus Christ was Gods son.

No, we should put God back into government, and if some do not like it, they can move on to some country that has their God.....and God is never passe.....if you are right, Brain, then we are all safe in the long run, if you are wrong....you are destined for eternal hell.......I think I will take my side, and just believe...also, most of our problems with other countries started when we started taking God out of our lives......back in the late 60's early 70's

Because it upsets all those people that don't believe in GOD.
According to the US. SUPREME court,it infringes on the rights of the same people that Come to your great Nation to get Freedom of speech and religion from countries that do not have that GOD GIVEN LIBERTY. When I was young,an old man once told me that the only thing worse than a dictatorship was absolute freedom.I didn't understand what he meant then,But I sure do now !!!. As a German borne Canadian,I am so proud to have the United States as our neighbour and friend.GOD BLESS AMERICA

I think the government is working on that. The country was founded on Christian principles. Freedom of religion meant that anyone else could practice their own without fear of persecution. (we all know what was going on in England, right?) tell me how erasing Christianity from America's past isn't a sign of the persecution of Christianity?

The problem is that too many people believe that the term "Separation of Church and State" means "Absence of Church in State".
The intent of the "Separation" language, at least in my opinion, was to prevent the government from mandating any single religion...or forcing any religion upon it's citizens.
