Well, that sentence doesn't make much sense but working does solve a lot of problems.

I think that working is for serving the customers.
But, sure, it solves the problem of how you will get money by giving you income, and the services you provide could solve problems for the customer (for instance, their problem is: Where will I stay in the DC area? My solution: Stay in my hotel!)
