I tend to stay in my old business, it is rude and obnixious to BUTT into other peoples business. I also think the world would get alone better if AMERICANS let the rest of the world work out their own PROBLEMS.

Everyone is always in other peoples business.
Look at the Middle East ... even before the latest Iraq intervention it was a mess of people trying to control other people.
Remember the French blowing up that Greenpeace ship ? I think that was none of their business.

But you do have a point, right now America has a lot of power and it probably has one of the highest proportion of citizens who have free time not focused on daily living.

Also from birth Americans tend to be taught to question everything; that they have rights and that they can do whatever they want in life if they put their mind to it.
Other countries tend to tell their children to be seen and not heard; not to question authority; be modest and don't argue.

Hi Bubbles
Do you mean as a nation ( Bad leadership) or as individual people which is different for everyone. Do I tend to butt into other peoples lives Absolutely but usually only when they ask and it is also part of my job but I think people like to share thier views with others it is a normal interaction and healthy most of the time. in some opressed countries When freedom of speech is restricted a lot of times resentment builds up and can be the root of violence

bcuz Americans think that since they are the richest nation on earth (economically that is) that they know whats BEST for everyone... they think their way is the ONLY good way... They are still a very young nation and when everything will *** up for them (which eventually will) like for all former "big" nations they will sit back and wonder how they got there... and will be SOOO pissed to have other people telling them what to do... History repeats itself... And whatever Bush is doing for them right now will only prove to be more harmful than anything in a few generations...

It has nothing to do with telling others what to do!! Its about saving lives. Should we just sit by while others are being wiped off the earth. Oh yeah, thats the right thing to do!...If America sat back while others are being killed day after day then you would be asking why are Americans sitting back while these ppl are being slaughtered. There are times when a country has to step in.
