On the map there includes a bunch of counties like Baraca, Marquette, Lake, Mason, Ketn... what would Grand Rapids, MI fall under? BTW thank you all for responding I appreciate it.

Grand Rapids is in Kent County. Allendale is in Ottawa County, just west of Kent County. Allendale is right in the middle of these maps:

Allendale is centrally located in the triangle formed by Grand Rapids, Muskegon, and Holland.
Allendale is almost exactly halfway between Grand Rapids and Lake Michigan (about 15 miles from each).

Allendale, MI is approximately 15-20 miles due west of Grand Rapids, MI. Good area. Grand Rapids has made quite a comeback over the last decade or so and is pretty darned nice for a big city. My best friend lives in Rockford (about 10 miles northeast of Grand Rapids) and he's very happy with the area.

Take M-45 (Lake Michigan Road) W out of Grand Rapids for about 20 miles or so.
