As others said, it depends. I assume you mean univerisity, since this is the "higher ed" forum.

Most schools in the US start around the Labor Day weekend. Most start just after - on or around 6 September. However, some, especially those in the Southeast, start earlier. Some in the Northeast start a bit later. And those in NY actually tend to start in October.

Depends on the school. Some already started, some don't start until September, and everywhere in between.

Some schools start before Labor Day....the end of August.
Others start the day after Labor Day....the first week of September.....
