To be a student with freedom, then a graduate with a degree, then employed full time (or a business owner!) with responsibility, money and security! That in that order!

College doesn't necessarily have a lot of value for most students. If you want to be a doctor, lawyer or engineer its one thing. But the rest don't really get a great lot out of it.
I went to college and I'd say that the computer skills and work experience I got while attending school is about the same value as the degree in actually finding work. But 20 years ago college is what people did when they got out of school, and I enjoyed it, so I don't feel bad about going.
But if its a hardship for you to attend, if grades or funds make it difficult, don't feel bad about just getting a job. When it comes down to it, most jobs are just a paycheck anyway.
And a lot of "menial" jobs pay more than "professional" jobs!

if u complete a college education u will have a better chance of earning more money later. the facts are that when u now compare a group of high school graduates with a group of college graduates, the college grads make a heck of a lot more money over their lifetimes. this goes for men and women and all races. pick a major that looks in demand for the future, such as medical areas, pharmacy, engineering, etc.

it is best to FIRST be a student (which comes with freedom) THEN the latter. having been a student, you can secure the qualification hence the job with security etc.
