He Has Been Preetty Impressive , Till Now In his Carrer
And Even If He Did Not Score Even after Playing 4 Matches In The World Cup , Van Basten Said That He Is A Good Striker With :Lot Of Potential , And Since No One Has Seen Much Of Him , We May Now See As He Has Just Signed With Liverpool

well i would say that he is average, and liverpool had failed to get him because he would rather choose newcastle. Liverpool's new aim is Miroslav Klose, who is the top scorer in the world cup but surprisingly the majority of his goals were not scored by headers like in wc2002. but i think klose would be better than dirk in liverpool. he has speed and is also good with high balls. and he is not selfish at all, which earned him a fairplay award. he is willing to do more passing if his forward partner is not scoring as much as he is. if u watched the wc2006 u would know that many of podolski's chances came from klose

Living in Holland I can say, he's done brilliantly for Feyenoord. He's a celebrity over here but on a low key level. I think he'll really shine on a Liverpool stage. C'mon the reds

he will be a good player if he is played as a proper center forward but he seems to be played out of position for the dutch squad, wide on either side for some reason. this man is a handful for centre backs on set plays but is that worth 10 million. not in my estimation. David tresurget probably a better investment

He got his chance to shine when taking van Nistelrooy's place in the starting lineup against Argentina and Portugal in WC2006. Did not deliver (no goals) and never looked comfortable. I heard Liverpool want him, though. Why they want him, I can't understand.

Supposedly. But he looked pretty average in the World Cup in my opinion. He missed a few sitters.

Feyenoord's top scorer last season, he must be good if Liverpool, Newcastle, Spurs, and B. Munich wanted him!

We'll just have to wait and see if Rafa knows what he's doing. His track record would suggest he does.
