No, it just makes you go blind, grow hair on your palms, and makes one hand way bigger than the other one. It's totally healthy.

No it is not harmful. It is a normal male activity and has health benefits for your reproductive system. I am not muslim but looked up some things for another young man so that I could provide a correct answer without causing you to sin in anyway. To my understanding as long as you are still young, single, and have not had sex with a wife it is no sin to masturbate in order to control your sexual urges. So I think you are okay to masturbate. Just keep it personal and private.
