I was never afraid of needles, but now, knowing what I know about medicines and vaccines, I'm more afraid of what's being injected into me than the needle itself.

No, they are over in a matter of seconds, just a pinch and maybe some burning from the meds, but basically over in an instant.

used to be hysterical, not any more. stopped being afraid when i had to stay at a hospital once, and the nurses covered up my head and gave me a shot. i was surprised when they told me it was over.
