Shouldn't the words 'rock' and 'funk' in the following should actually be the well known f-word?
Queen's "we will rock you"
George Michael's "keep on funking"
What do you think?

Yes that's a very good point. Basically the verbs here are functioning as expressions of indiscriminate energy that moves out from the subject to empower itself through domination of an object. In other words, libido! There's probably other examples - get up/get down come to mind...

Um........NO!!!!!! I'm pretty sure that Queen wasn't trying to say we will **** you. George Michael, that's a different story. I think it was meant as a humorous play on words. That's all.
