I never do. I just break the window & let myself in. There's nothing in that garage anyway, except for some old paint cans, the lawn mower, & a croquet set.

Whenever I accidently get locked out.... I use my credit card, ID or something of that nature. Slide it through and push.
Or call a locksmith or police, if you have to.
