How many of you have psychic abilities and...?

...what exactly are those?

My wife has certain abilities, so I know that it is possible to actually be psychic. Some people delude themselves and others try to defraud others for various reasons.

But she is the real deal.

I know there are others of you out there.

Just to clarify, when I asked "exactly what they are". I meant what form your abilities took.

My wife's abilities are seeing auras and intuitive empathy (she can feel what other people are feeling).

Skeptics: I understand your skepticism, but being psychic does not always mean predicting the future. That is very rarely a true ability as evidenced by the ridiculous predictions in the tabloids.

The range of possible psychic abilities is much broader.

I don't know for sure.... I've been exploring this kind of question myself. I don't "see" auras (though I'd like to know how your wife does - for example, does she feel like she sees it with her eyes or is it more like an overlay her mind adds to her visual input?) I do feel things like moods and shifts in emotions in people (empathically, I suppose).

I have even picked up information (although I'm unclear how). For example, the other day I was goofing, imagining what it would be like to do a reading for someone. You know, like I was giving one. The name "Frank" came to me along with a physical description. A few moments later, someone came into the room and in our conversation the topic of a "Frank" that was giving her some problems came up. I probed and found out the description was right on. The information came in a combination of images and sound/thoughts (if that makes any sense).

I've also had some precognitive dreams, but nothing I could nail down. Usually, dreams of being some place I've never been, doing something I've never done or around people I don't know. Then, time passes and there I am.

I've managed to develop a teeny tiny talent. I'm not sure what it would be called exactly, but I've occasionally known something would happen before it did, or rather, I got a sort of heads up. For instance, driving home one night I suddenly thought to watch out for deer. I immediately saw a racoon in the road, and about 10 minutes later a deer did cross our path. On a road trip, it suddenly occurred to me that I might not hear my phone if it rang. It rang while it was in my hand after taking it out of my purse.

Little things like that - they don't sound like much, and it wasn't like a bolt from the blue, but I know they were "psychic" in nature because they felt different.

I've also always been very alert to danger. Nothing so dramatic as not getting on a plane that ended up crashing, but the deer story for instance, and once there was an incident where I almost had my purse snatched. That was weird - I didn't see hear or smell him coming, but my hackles rose - it was like having eyes in the back of my head. I whirled out of the way and saw this guy running past me with this hand stretched out.

My extra sensory perception was much keener when I was younger. Now it is lessened in a way, but I am still very discerning. You asked what are psychic abilities? They allow you to see, know and feel what is not apparent (yet) to most people. It helps to remain open in order to be able to tune into the unseen, unheard, spiritual realm.
