2000 F150 running like crap and crappy MPG

no..keep car off..take throttle sensor off.. make sure u have throttle body cleaner....spray the valve and spay into throttle body..wipe excess cleaner from the tip of throttle body..repalce sensor..step down on gas pedal like half way down and start car to blow crap out tail pipe...read the cleaner instruction on the can...

Yes,get a can of 3M or something close to it Fuel inj intake cleaner,the can should be equipped with a long nozzle,take your intake boot off by the TBI or fuel injection rail,then start the truck,you will need to rev the engine every time you spray into the intake as it will bog the engine down.Do it about 4 or 5 times really good.Then change your fuel and air filters if they have not been.Also check your spark plugs for wear.

to clean externaly no i presume you are using a spray cleaner so spray away with motor off but if your quality ford runs like shite dont forget to check air intake mixture and any earth leads any where from motor to body just a thought good luck

before you do it check your car i think that one is coated and cleaning the throttle body will damage it
ust a good fuel injection cleaner you put in your tank insted

don't know but i do know don't use carb cleaner or wd 40 . it Burns out the unit

yes... it will also clean out carbon deposits on your valves.
