Mary J. Blige "The Breakthrough" is the best album of her career!!! I Love It!!! I still listen to it almost everyday (if not the whole album atleast a couple of tracks) This is an album that you can play str8 thru without skipping any tracks. Its that hot!!! I mean (coming from a TRUE Mary fan...) any album of her is an album to have...and if you don't have them you need yo go get them...

I've always been a big fan of Mary's music but The Breakthrough.......i wasn't too impressed, i guess i expected too much from her. The only track i liked was Be Without You. The thing is though, people have different opinions so who knows, why don't you find out for yourself, you might find it quite good. With me i just wasn't impressed, but in a way it's not too bad. It is worth listening to. Give it a shot!!!!

I quite agree with MyOwnDestiny. This is the greatest album of her career. From Be With You to One Love to Enough Crying etc, she really shines on this album vocally. I for one who's not keen on R&B was impressed.

Havent heard the album...but knowing mary j....I know that cd would be worth listenin to..she's soo reall and soulful!
