A good while ago a kid here asked how he could play airsoft suns in his room without breaking anything, the answers were pretty much "no, you would do damage", but I had an idea, tell me if it would/wouldn't work. Say you take one wall of your bedroom and attached a thick piece of foam, like mattress foam or some other type. Then you can paint a big bullseye on it (it would be too easy to hit the target though), and then shot your airsoft into the foam from across the room? Wouldn't it just stick right into the foam without damaging your room? Stupid idea, or would it work? Thanks, just curious.

The man on top said it couldn't damage anything. I'm thinking he's never seen any airsoft gun other than a cheap walmart spring-operated one. Yes, airsoft rifles CAN do damage. I've known people who've had it break skin and only stop at the bone. I've known people who've made it go through both sides of a pepsi can at 20 yards, I believe. There are springers, gassers, and electrics. If it is a springer, it can't do any real harm. If it's a gas, please, take it outside if you value anything including him. If it's electric, that depends on how much it cost. If it cost anything above $100, take it outside, please. If below, it'll be fine.

airsoft doesnt shoot hard enough to do anything to the walls... the most it will hurt is plastic cups.
