The deserving team is currently holding the WORLD CUP CHAMPIONSHIP TROPHY. VIVA ITALIA!
The game was played in an open field for the world to see. All are gifted and talented players. All are qualified champions to be on the field for a show down of talent. However, it takes years of experience to play and get away with moves. All players are capable of this. But when one decides to make an unsporting like move he takes the risks of being caught and penalizing his entire team. Would you call that cheating, or a selfish act on his part or would you look at it as "all for one and one for all" (did I write that correctly). It's a team effort and one takes risks and knows the responsibility and consequences. All is a choice of the moment.
So, my question to you is "who is currently holding the World Cup Championship Trophy"
By the way...I must add.......I enjoyed watching all the guys playing and acting like little bitches when pretending to be injured. They all deserve an OSCAR and Beckham was the biggest biotch of all!

Well,I'm a French and you might think that I'm going to say that they didn't deserve the world cup trophy but no..I will say that they deserve the world cup trophy more if they don't have such cheating player like materazzi.and they don't deserve to have such player in their team..Italy is one of the best football team right?? then I'm sure that they can find someone else better than Materazzi..

Yeah and that i think France did not dive in the international Cup. it is been a three hundred and sixty 5 days and we are nevertheless celebrating. it is an rather good pride to entice close that human beings like you're nevertheless *****!n @ moaning. Yes, because they rightfully won each of their matches in the knockout stage and progressed through the tournament to the final match, then winning it. They had talent, sportmanship, and a great team spirit. In my opinion, they didn't cheat (and no, Grosso did NOT dive in the match versus Australia), and they clearly deserved to win the World Cup.

no i'm brazilian fan so i dont think any other country should have won except of brazil but then again God didn't give them the right to win the cup every 4 years...in this case italy dont deserve the cup...anymore than france do...but its already written that it is the azzuri who will bring home the cup....whats done is done nothing much we say....honestly this year's world cup is the most disappointing year....hopefully better game in 2010

NO.no.no.Football is a beautiful game to be played fair.Then how can the most prestigios award in football be won by a bunch of cheats and provokers when there were more deserving teams like France and England who played fair with dignity.Italy only has losers like Matarazzi who arent even worthy to play the beautiful game.
I'm really disappointed with the result of WC 2006.I really feel that the refrees were partial(maybe they were bribed).Les Bleus,U ROCK!
I hope that a WC like this will never happen again.

No, and that's the reason so many people are still upset. It's because we saw what happened, they won only because they cheated and got lucky. Germany and France both played better, and played fair, but Italy kept pulling cheap tricks and that's how they won. It's really not fair, it was an awful World Cup.
