First of all update your antivirus, antispyware/adware. Scan the system in safe mode. If that does not help try online virus scanning alot of sites are offering it e.g. trendmicro (housecall scan). It will surely help, if not, post some more information please.

Good Luck!!

Download Spybot S&D(install with enabling tea-timer during installation) / Ad-aware/ Microsoft Defender or look out the tool for the trojan you mentioned as it got variants e.g. downloader.?.???

Try this tool as well : - http://www.grisoft.cz/softw/70/filedir/util/avg_rem_sup.dir/rmstubby.exe

I suspect that the reason the anti-virus program can’t get rid of it, is because the file is in use. Try the following:

To stop the virus from starting when you turn on your computer…
Click on Start; Run; Type in msconfig
Click OK
Click on Startup
See if Downloader is listed to start up with your computer. If it is, remove the arrow.
Click on Services, then click on the Hide all Microsoft Services box. If downloader is listed there, remove the arrow.
That process will stop the virus from starting up when you turn on the computer.
Do not Restart your computer at this time...

Press Control/Alt/Delete keys all at once.
Click on Processes
If Downloader is listed, click on it, then click End Process.
(If you can't see Downloader listed, look for other items that it could be, and click End Process)
Ignore the warning.
Once you have done that, do your virus scan again, and it should now be able to get rid of it.
Restart your computer after you have done the virus scan.

Hey! I had that same problem! There is a program that can get rid of it any retore any of the damages that have been done and it also really good at preventing future viruses. You have to pay for it, but I'm telling you it's worth it. I finally learned my lesson after losing 2 of my laptops to freakin' viruses. I highly recommend it, I tried the free ones but the virus never was completly removed and came back. Here's the link for it http://brenda96.microa.hop.clickbank.net

Hope everything works out good for you!
