It's not the most fun thing to hear if they've got loving parents with money, but everyone has some kind of problem, and I try not to judge. Our problems with work and relationships probably sound like nonsense to them, too, 'cause they can't relate to it. Let 'em *****. We're the grown-ups; we can move on and talk about real stuff.
Oh, and for parents, that stuff can offer some real insight into what your kids might be going through, or will go through! Don't squander that opportunity!

Being miserable is part of being a teenager. But to be honest, life now a day is a lot better then what we used to have. Every generation has its difficult time, but get over it.

I think it's the beauty of being a teenager! When they get older they realise life wasn't so tough and then they wonder why all the teenagers moan. A circle of life, no?!

Me too. They should be happy to be alive and living in a house with nice food. They should be happy they are not on the streets looking for food and a house. They should be happy they are young. It is life, deal with it. Not everyone is always pleased. They should be lucky they even have a computer. And life is life, it is not long either so enjoy moments while you can. I bet they can't even last 1 second in the real world. They would die because they wouldn't have a cell phone or iPod.

I am...with all the technology and opportunity available to teens today, to whine and carry on is non sense. I think that a lot of them are spolied and jaded and need to get back to the basics...like realizing that the world does not revolve around their wants and needs and that the world does not think that their little acts of selfish aggression are cute or cool.

Yeah, they're in my house AND where I work too. They have it so easy. Just wait until they get out there into the "real" world. Then they'll know what we're going through.
