Doctors can presribe many prescription remedies, of course. If you wish to treat homeopathically, gargle with non-iodized salt, three tmes per day, and spit ,repaet, then swallow bit. Then, gargle with hydrogen peroxide, and spit but do NOT swallow ."SOOTHERS" are excellent lozenges, over the counter, which not only soothe the sore throat, but assist in clearing the condition causing it. AIRBORNE is a good product to use, for acute "cold symptoms" but the amount of vitamin A is a bit high to use, routinely - just use while symptoms persist...OR, prior to going on a plane ride, into a large crowd, etc.Zinc is a good supplement to take, in conjunction with vitamin C, to prevent future sore throats

Peroxyl mouth rinse is good. Listerine is pretty effective. Vitamin C 500 mg 3-4 times a day may help. See a doctor if you are having fever or the condition does not improve in a couple of days. Strep throat can cause a lot of problems if not properly treated.

Gargling with warm water with salt mixed in it. It tastes gross but for some reason it really does work. Also try sucking on cough drops or a tangy hard candy, it helps with the coughing and dryness. Always keep hydrated too!

linseed is a perfect remedy for sore throat. one cup of water just one table spoon of seeds put together in a souce pan and boiled until it gets like a jelly.

Bell 30 3-4 times 6 pills each time next arsenic album 30 if not relieved if there is hoarseness try spongia 30 dose as above

7 up or Sprite with some salt. Works great if you hate gargling with warm salt water.

make yourself a cup of tea and put in to it a teaspoon of honey and 1 or 2 teaspoons of lemon juice. then sip it slowly
