There's word that video games aren't good for plasma tv's. They "burn" images into the tv easier. Things like a health bar that never moves, when its there for a long time, the image stays in the tv. you can see when you turn the tv off. get a LCD tv

If you are looking into buying a TV I would take alot of time talking to the people at the store before ever making the final purchase. I read an article in an issue of EGM (Electronic Gaming Monthly) saying that alot of plasma TV's will create screen burn which is terrible for HUDS like think of watching friends and still being able to see the menu screen for Grand Theft Auto, its a terrible waste of money. Before investing in a TV I would def. talk to the people at the Best Buy or Circuit City you go to.

From the articles I have read on the subject, LCD is less prone to burn in from video games.
