Who am I? What is the meaning of life? Its purpose? What am I doing here? These and similar questions have baffled man since ages. Trying to find the answers, you run in circles, come to a dead-end or get lost in a maze. You visit gurus. After imbibing their speculative theories you yourself become a guru. The search continues. But the meaning remains ever elusive. You ask the meaning of life only because life runs through you. So your being alive itself is the meaning. Anything else is speculation, a mere contrivance and a shadow of the real thing. To the extent that the meaning of life becomes more important than living it. The more you seek the answer, the more you get away from it.

There is a story about a mountain that when you scale its peak, you'll meet an old man who has the answers to all the questions. As you begin climbing, you look forward to meeting the old man as much as you want to make it to the top. Finally, reaching the summit is a great feeling. Time comes to a standstill as you drink in the view. Your heart expands. You are alive as never before. In that wonderful state, all questions disappear. The old man grins. You grin too. But no questions are asked. Because the meaning of life has already been glimpsed.

to give life meaning

First I believe that people are all connected to God first and are sent to this planet to learn to have faith in God, and to learn to love ourselves and each other.

I think of life on this planet, in that God is letting us learn with egos intact so that when we leave and go back to our true home that we gain by enlightenment within ourselves, our spiritual selves.

I think that really life is an illusion. In revelations it said that the devil was cast to earth. I think that we are in a battle of good verses evil and that we have to learn to put our egos aside and just learn to love, without fear, without ego. It is hard to do.

We just have to try, have faith, suffer our afflictions and have joy in the triumphs.

We are just sent here to learn before we go back home with Christ.

Speaking of, when I die, I hope that people celebrate, not my death but my life and the fact that I will be back at my true home with God.

To love and to be loved in return.

To achieve goals for the sake of achievement, not for acknowledgment or reward.

To see the mountain for what it is, a pile of rocks and dirt, that can be scaled, gone around, or tunneled through, but not as an obstacle to stop you in your tracks.
