I think it's too early to tell. First this guy has to be found guilty in a court of law before restitution can be discussed. I think the police owe a big apology to the family. The police screwed up the case and allowed the family to make themselves look guilty.

Of course not, there will always be a veil of suspicion around Patsy Ramsey. And, when a person is in the public then they are subject to "ridicule" and remember the Ramseys were suspects.

This arrest does not mean that they have the real killer in custody. I mean this man's ex wife has stated that he was in Alabama with her on the night that JonBenet was murdered...so how was he in Alabama and in Colorado at the same time? That kinda throws a monkey wrench in this whole "confession" don't ya think?

He has not been tried yet. No financial restitution, they made their money. This would not even be in the news if she was not wealthy. Little girls get killed all the time unfortunately and you hear nothing about it.

Of course not. No one falsely accused ever gets restitution. That's life, unfortunately. We don't know if this Karr guy did it unless the DNA matches.

It's a con job. He didn't do it.

He just wants to get out of that prison in Tailand. Research how bad they are.

Once in the states, he can say what he wants, deny, appeal.....and eventually get off by reason of insanity

i should think so its a classic case of the police screwing up the evidence big time,i think they should get restitution mostly because that poor women went to her grave under a cloud of suspicion with no closure and without the satisfaction of seeing the monster who killed her baby go to jail.

I doubt it but it would be nice for them to have after all they've gone through. It's just sad that her mother died 2 months previously and didn't get to see the killer get captured. What horrible thing to have to go through... having your daughter murdered in your home and then having so many people also think that you are the one guilty of it. It's a pitiful shame.

I think it's too early to know.He said in one statement that he hasn't told the whole story because it upsets him. I think there is more to this story once it's solved I am sure just having him be in prison will be enough./

I hope so.

This is clearly another case of jumping to conclusions before all the facts were in, and of shoddy investigation.
