my nephew is over for the day, but it's raining so i can,t take him out. he's not intrested in ansewering questions and is getting bored. any suggestions on rainy day activies? thanks!

See if there are any kiddy shows or movies on, or even playing at a theater, so you can take him out today. Does he have any toys with him? He needs to stay occupied obviously. Draw with him, color with him, watch Nickelodeon with him. Are there any neighbor kids he can play with too? If so, call 'em on over so they can build a fort in the livingroom. Maybe when it's lunch time he can help you make a sandwich. Look around online (maybe citysearch.com in your town) to see about local kids activities you can bring him to. Like a childrens museum, or an aquarium... ANYthing to keep him busy so he can hopefully forget what a dull, rainy day it is.

Put a pot on the floor and toss cards into it. First one to get 20 points gets a treat. Always works. Grandma to eight.
