Great defence, good goaltending, and a consistant offence. Off the ice they have a good management and coaching team and ownership interested in winning every game. Compared to all of the other Western conference teams, they'll probably finish top 3 and win their division. They lack the depth and the run & gun offence like many Eastern teams so even if they make it to the big dance, they need to play hard hitting...the same way that Edmonton rolled to the final.

I do. Anaheim Ducks rules. They've got a great organization with a great owner and a very good G.M. in Brian Burke. Adding Chris Pronger is a great addition and I'd see them go a long way this season and the playoffs. GO DUCKS GO!

I like the Ducks now that they're not the MIGHTY Ducks.... That was gay. Maybe now, along with their recent Stanley Cup appearance, they'll get some respect from around the league. Good young talent too! Beauchemin, Bryzgalov, Penner and more!

Love Hockey, Love the NHL, Love my Oilers, but good God.... The Ducks is the stupidest, lamest, most ridiculous name in pro sports today.
It was a sell-out move letting Disney buy a NHL team in the first place. Eisner and his croonies had a good laugh at the NHL for years on that one!
They are going to be a great team this year, but FORCE them to change their name...

Hell yeah! Ducks will win the cup this year, and with the "kids" up and coming, we will be a threat for years to come.
Just hope we keep Vishnevski. Who remembers that hit on Campbell last season? Hit of the year

I'm a die hard Leafs fan!!! But I have to admit the Ducks are going to be much better, especially with Pronger and Neidermayer on defence.
