Being PM is a mere formality. Why not think of him as a CEO? Life would be lot simpler in understanding his position. He is a nominated - and not elected PM

No. He is weakes. This guy is not elected. So he takes orders from his political master like any governement officer which he was for long periods of time. Look how Arjun Singh ran circles around him on the OBC reservation issue. Manmohan Singh had no say at all on the matter.

He is not weak. The circumstances has made it challenging for him. He is after all an unwilling PM. Do not forget, he brought in liberalization under the leadership of PVN in a minority government.
We seen PM(s) with less ability - VP Singh, Chandrasekhar, IK Gujral, Deve Gowda even Rajiv Gandhi.

Yes, every Prime minister of Idia is/was weak, otherwise socioeconomic condition of INDIA wo'nt be so miserable.HE is/was dictated by others and HE is/was not using his powers to fullfil the wishes of those martyres who sacrificed their lives so that our own leaders wuold improve the dilapidated the condition of the Indians.

Do not forget the 13 days of Bajpaye's government. His government was the weakest in the history of the world!
V.P.Singh's government was equally weak, so was I k Gujral's. read some history. What about Chandrasekhar's.

he deserves to be the prime minister of india.
its not that just because he got the oppurtunity from ms.gandhi he can be said as a weak primeminister.
