so is the question you want to find a nice dress for your friend to wear??

they have plenty of long dresses that come right down to the ankles and some lovely flowy gypsys skirts in this style also, take her out shopping, try on some possible ones and let her pick the one she feels beautiful in.

in another way, she must feel very self consious of her leg, i myself have a large scar on my knee and i did spend alot of time trying to cover it up with clothes, always longing to wear new fashions but never having the courage. but now i have fully excepted myself and wear what i want, if people want to stare i just let them.

~scars tell a story, they make you interesting, instead of these stick leg shiny models with perfect complexion, theres so many of them and its just getting boring...~

good luck xx

Plastic Surgery is basically reconstructive surgery to make you look and feel better (ex. breast implants, nose reduction, face lift)
As for your friend, she doesn't need plastic surgery (Unless the scar is like ginormous) she can try Palmers Cocoa Scar Serum
(Something like that)

Perhaps you haven't gotten the answer you need because your question is confusing? Do you really just want to know what plastic surgery is, or do you need information on whether or not your friend can be helped? Do you want a referral to a good surgeon in your area?

If your question really is, "What is plastic surgery," then here's the answer:
