In our country, about a million students who have gratuated from highschool take part in the university entrance exam, and anyone according to her\his rank will go to a university, I have taken part in this exam about 40 days ago, and I got the 5th rank in this exam, nso i could choose any course or any iniversity to study in! as i had a good rank everyone advised me to study biotechnology, but I didn't like that, and i chose med University,now everyone says Ive made my biggest mistake in my life. Do you think I have made a mistake?

Medicine has long been considered a prestigious career. Because of that many bright people choose that route and the field recently has become over saturated. Granted biotechnology is a up and coming field with great demand but in this instance you have to make the choice, no one else! I think you did the right thing because I am sure you have your reasons. No one who scores that high just randomly choices a career. Hope all goes well...

you have to choose a career that will make you happy. it sounds like you are a very smart girl and you will do well in whatever you choose to do. you can always start with pre-requs and change your major if you see fit. good luck to ya.
