Make sure you buy reall leather, as the fake stuff makes you sweat, makes your feet smell, and generally make the boots look cheap. Try somewhere like Dune, who have branches all over London - every winter they manage to come out with a great selection of original, beautiful and wearable boots in leather and suede that are fashionable without breaking the bank.

I have always wanted to know where to get good Knee high boots from too but can never find any to go over my slightly large calves.

Wrong time of year for much choice, but please no plastic, they look really tacky and get sweaty - unless you are a vegetarian or whatever. If you have large calves, Simply Be do a fantastic range of boots and Evans

Make sure they are real leather because if they are plastic your feet and legs will get sweaty (leather has pours which allows the skin to breath).
