If the confession is true, that would be a great punishment. I, unfortunately; do not see that happening. It is a privilege to to be born in and reside in the USA; but if we had some tougher laws, the old-fashioned...eye for an eye type of laws...I would bet that the crime rate would drop amazingly. Maybe the optimal would be to have Mr. Ramsey decide the fate of this piece of dirt. I cannot imagine what it would have been like for them living with the pain and loss and being suspected and poor Patsy dying from cancer without a true answer of what happened to their daughter. We need to get these predators off of the earth.

Actually sending him to prison in the general population would be a more fitting punishment. Only one thing all prisoners and guards agree on people who rape, molest or kill children are scum. The cons and the guards in a PMITA prison would make every day of this guys life a living hell. Before one of them killed him.

he did confess. He said it was a kidnapping that went wrong so he strangled her. I wish he would be killed. When he goes to prison and the inmates find out what he did I bet he will not last

That bastard fleed the country and 10 years later he's charged with murdering this precious little girl... He's getting the death penalty without a doubt.

for killing a little girl ( and who knows what else he did to her ) he should be taking out in the swamp and let the wild animals ( he is one ) have him, a nice slow death

no don't shoot him, just let him go to prison and be let loose in the general population yard. trust me word gets around fast in the yard about a (short eyes) aka child molester or child rapist. they do not last long.
