It all depends on the time of day, my mood, the road I'm on, the weather, and the other traffic. I find myself automatically going slower at night- especially on the highway. But there are times when 35 does feel incredibly slow. In fact I don't think I monitor my speed very much on side roads, I probably average about 40 or 45. Of course when I'm in a hurry I drive faster.

I drive like that too sometimes, after living in Florida for six years where all the speed limits are higher. On top of it, there are more speed bumps around here(four alone in my neighborhood before I get to my house) than I've ever seen! Maybe people wouldn't speed so much if the speed limits weren't so high. Just a thought.

I go the "posted" speed limit all the time.
In 34 years of driving, not one speeding ticket...
Being a Christian, I figure, I can follow man's rule, easier than the LORD'S rule, because man's rule is posted in black and white...Where the LORD'S rule, is tougher!
Drive the speed limit, or get a ticket..simple as that. Speed limit is posted so you can follow it.
But, the LORD has made it a wee bit tougher...
When a man just "looks" at a woman, with lust in thier hearts, they are committing adultery...(Thats one I have the most problems with, as any other male, I would venture)...

I feel the same way i have to go atleast 55 and on major highways i have to go atleast 75. i hate the feeling of driving slow or being behind someone who drives slow

Yes, but then again this is America and I guess we can all just waste as much gas as we want. Drive bigger cars and drive as fast as we can. I'm hoping gas gets to $10.00 a gallon and I can find a car that gets 1 mile to a gallon.

I cannot drive slow, I'm from Chicago and it's in my blood to drive as fast as possible at all times

Perhaps if you answerers get to live on an urban street and have children, you might not be too happy about people speeding along the street where you live. Speed does kill.
