I don't know how it would work (maybe voting) but it would encourage people to try to think of really good questions don't you think?

Yes, if it was a day to day thing. Best question of the day, based on votes. It would give the person say 10 - 15 points?

Yes I do think it is a good idea, because you already get 10 points for the best answer, so why not 10 points for the best asked question of the day voted for by the panel just to keep it fair across the board.

No. Then people would ask the question just to get a best question rather than asking something they really wanted to know. Kind of like the questions you see where it looks like the person asking either already has the answer or is using Yahoo Answers to do their homework.

That sounds like a good idea, but I don't think yahoo want another department just to rate questions.....:)

I don't understand, what do you mean by Best question.
What would be the time span for each judgement ?
Hourly, day, week, month ? And you wanted to be the
judge ? Now you think.

Yes definitely, it'd prevent people from posting relentless junk like, "If I jump out of the window, where will I land?"
