If you like a good mystery, I'd like to suggest they "Prey" novels by John Sandford. There's plenty of action, sex, and just enough profanity to make you laugh right out loud. The first installation of the Prey series is "Rules of Prey". Basically there's a serial killer/rapist on the loose and evey time he murders a woman, he leaves a piece of paper with a rule on it. It is awsome! The cop assigned to catch him is Lucas Davenport. The series is kind of built around him as he and a few other characters are with the story throughout the whole series. I have read them all and enjoyed every single one. A few others I would recommend are Mary Higgins Clark, Jonathan Kellerman, and Michael Connelly. And of course if you're into horror, you can't go wrong with Stephen King. His novel Cell was so good that after I read it the first time I turned back to the beginning and read it again. I could talk about books all day. I love love love to read. Take care.

Sounds like you may want to read Scott Turow. The last one I read was 'Reversible Errors', but you may also try 'Presumed Innocent', The Burden of Proof' and 'Personal Injuries'. Turow writes murder mysteries with a legal angle and always draws out finely defined characters who interact in delicately romantic situations.
Len deighton's spy series featuring the eternal and universally admired anti-hero Bernard Samson is thrilling to read. You will never find a more romantic soul under a gruffer personality. 'Berlin Game', 'Mexico Set', 'London Match' for starters, then 'Spy Hook', 'Spy Line', Spy Sinker', followed by 'Faith', Hope' and 'Charity'. You can read any of those as a standalone book, every one is complete in itself, but it's actually a continuous story and once you've read the first, you can't wait to read the others.
For female writers, equally highly romantic but for me a revelation as it showed me the other side of romance (I am a man), I can recommend Nora Roberts. I have only read 'Northern Lights' from her, which impressed me deeply, but if you google her you'll find she has a whole score of books.
Enjoy.

I read Sandra Brown too. (Somehow this book category belongs in books and not in magazines.) Linda Fairstein is good for legal thrillers. Stella Cameron. Erica Spindler, Mary and Carol Higgins Clark. Hope this helps. I can go on...

notwithstanding "The Case against Barack Obama" is possibly to be broadly speaking fiction, i do no longer think of it is precisely what you're searching for for. i these days examine "the beautiful Bones" and concept that became into super. The e book is written from the attitude of a murdered 14 12 months previous lady who's looking down on her kin from an relatively thrilling version of heaven. i'd additionally propose all the Francesca Lia Block books.
