Go to a reliable cosmetic counter and let a professional help you select the right foundation. They're usually trained in application of the makeup and what the end result will be a in photograph. I've had a great deal of success with Lancome, Estee Lauder and Clinique. Good Luck and Happy Photo Shoots!

You say you have found the right foundation in Elizabeth Arden, well believe me when I say that it is not as goos as "Shearcover" you can only order it on line and my Daughter says it is fantastic. It is a bit expensive and you have to purchase it every 3 months but you will not be disappointed. You will then have no problems with your photo's every again

a professional photographer can work with the lights and they shold be able to advise you on the make up. the big problem with photos that we take of ourselves or our friends is that that lighting is terrible in relation to what is "ideal". the lighting thing is even worse with a lot of the foundations today that contain "brighteners" that give the face a "glow"........good for people to look at....not so much for photos cause it reflects the light. i reall do not have an answer just telling you things that i know. BTW...EA makes nice make up and sometimes you hafta splurge on some really really good make up

you could try a bronzing bowder they are brill, put it on your cheeks and forhead where ever! also if it is a shimmery one you can pop a bit on your sholders and cleavage as well.
Or you could try getting a really pale fake tan for your face, the johnsons moistoriser one is fantastic! its only light and you can add a little everyday to make it better, and as its only light not really really dark it will blend well with your tan but not make you look orange!
Btw, how dark is your fake tan? you might be going too dark on the rest of yuor body, i now if i go too dark i look silly. good luck!!

hmm, this happens to me too....

does your foundation have SPF? if so, the ingredient in SPF stuff is probably the culprit for the 'ghostly' look when taking photos

also, try to take photos without having to use flash...that might be it!
