No I just think that Hollywood marriages start out with 2 strikes against them. Number one, both husband and wife are usually selfish egoists and unable to nurture or give and number two the media, in trying to sell papers, creates problems for these couples (perhaps with the hopes that they will break up and, thus sell more papers).

Seems like it's just a bad combo. Usually people who are in love due to reality TV don't last, and also usually celebrity marriages don't last. When you have both of these against you, I just it's just hard to stay together. I thought Carmen and Dave would really make it, they seemed good for each other, and weren't on MTV for that long either! It's too bad. . . .

I believe having cameras in your life doesn't allow you to live your life and marriage like you would if they weren't there. I believe that is what the main problem is with the reality tv thing in these situations. I mean would Jessica have had all those endorsements if it wasn't for her show showing some of her blonde moment comments?? I love Jessica Simpson more than anyone, don't get me wrong, but I really believe it's just nothing more than publicity and the superstars trying to get people to like them and not really working on their marriage.

Cursed? No. But I just think it's a dumb idea. There is enough pressure on a marriage to begin with especially in the first years. Add television and cameras in your face and the fact that you are already famous to that and your a goner.

No I think most Hollywood marriages will fail regardless of whether or not they're on TV.
