Metallo is the one. It might interest you to know that this character is one of Superman's oldest villains, dating back to the forties! "Metallo" was a name that was being popularized for robots, or for what we now think of as cyborgs. The original Metallo was a small time criminal who was crushed in an accident. A criminal scientist saved his life by transplanting his head (in the later version, just his brain) onto a robot body. He came back again and again. In the 70's or 80's, they revived the character as the brother of the original guy, whom a secret organization of criminal scientists who hated Superman set up to be almost killed and then developed him into their anti-Superman weapon. The 90's Metallo was just the latest in the tradition.

metalo, his powers are cybernetic strength that rivals supes, kryptonite eye and chest rays that come from a heart sized piece of kryptonite in his chest (all courtesy of lex luther, big surprise huh?)
