If this news is true, this goes to show that we can be wrong about things we hear via the media. If you're someone who just knew the parent were guilty, how do you explain your then certainty and the now current news? I think this, if true, should teach all of us a lesson in judging others: If we weren't present at the event in question then we really don't know what happened. Regardless of the evidence and/or a certain suspect's reactions and how we read those reactions. Thanks.

I hope it is true. I can't believe he said "it was an accident". I never thought the parents were guilty. I was suspicious, however, of the brother although I can't tell you exactly why. I also was very aware that we didn't have knowledge of all the facts - as well we shouldn't have. It is a shame that the Ramsey's were raked over the coals the way they were. I know they said on the news that Patsy knew of this suspect before she passed, but I (I'm sure like many others) wish she were here to look that man in the face.

I'd like to think that Patsy and JonBenet are celebrating in heaven. She is finally with her baby again. Makes me tear up just thinking about it. Rest in Peace Patsy and JonBenet!

This is ofcourse great news! Too bad Patsy Ramsey did not live to see this day. The tragedy for JonBenet and her family does not become smaller though.

Tears come to your eyes when thinking about everything that happened.

I've read two books on the subject and one was the book written by Patsy and John. I have to admit I had doubts as to who was responsible. There were leads both ways. I must say that for a time I susptected the parents and mainly Patsy. I feel sorry for that now. Patsy was just a great mom. As John was a great father who had to witness the death of two of his children. Stories hardly get any sadder than that.

I have heard off and on bits and pieces of news over the years and it definitely sounded like they were pointing the finger at the father square on. Then there was a twist at the end saying it may have been the mother all along.

This sounds like what happened in Australia with the Lindy Chamberlain case. What the poor bugger must have went through in being accused of murdering her baby..

Anyone being accused of murdering their child could only imagine the torment everyday these people must have went through.
Weaker persons would have gone mad..
DNA testing is a God send.. an end to speculation and witch hunting.
The monster they have finally caught with no doubt, I wish him eternal hell.
May the beautiful little girl JonBenet Ramsey rest in peace now with her mother..

We shouldn't jump to say the new suspect is guilty in the United States of America you are Innocent until Proven Guilty in a Court of Law and they do say they have arrested a suspect in the JonBenet Ramsey case not the killer. So we will see. But, I think that the SOB should be killed in the same manner that JonBenet Ramsey died anything alse will be an easy death. He made statements but, until the courts make that final GUILTY SHOUT we can only hope there is no screw-ups this time.

I think that's startling news. May Patty rest in peace now. For ten years, she and her husband was under suspicion. And before she died, she knew about the suspect with her suspicions. Now her whole family can put it to rest, after he goes to court and sentenced to death. So many questions will be answered now. Maybe other unsolved cold cases will be solved like the Black Dahlia. I didn't think the parents did it.

Bravo. Good blog. Of course we can all thank the lackeys of the fourth estate for grasping any any shred of information (real or imagined) and playing the hype and making suppositions.

I didn't really blame anyone. I was about 14 at the time and had more important things on my mind. But yeah, good point, I agree.

I have always believed that her parents were Innocent. I wish her mom could be here for this, but even better, SHE IS WITH HER BABY GIRL. RIP to both
