If your definition of power is "ruled with an iron fist, slaughtered people unwilling to convert to your chosen invisible friend, butchered monks and raped nuns, tried to erradicate any visible sign that the people had a religion of their own before you came", then yes, the Indian Muslims were so powerful when they invaded India.

It`s not the question about beeing muslims but that they r Indians.Indian`s r so powerful that they ruled.They still r ruling on the forefronts of most walks of life...It`s just becoz of their humility and gud characteristics they have been taught by their families that they dont show off everywhere....the most strong bond (family)anywhere and which is much more prevalant in India than anywhere else.....so dude.....wht ya say?
