Most people would say either Luxemburg or The Vatican but it is not right. The Small Country happens to be no big then two tennis country and have 80 people in it. It is called Sovereign Military Order of Malta.

The Principality of Liechtenstein (German: Fürstentum Liechtenstein) is a small, doubly landlocked country in Western Europe, bordered by Switzerland to its west and by Austria to its east. Many people would say the Vatican. The Vatican is a soverigin state however it is governed bt the Bishop of Rome making it a state within Italy and not a truly self governing country. It is also subject to Italian law.

Vatican City - 0.44 km2 and approx 1000 inhabitants, enclaved in Roma (Italy). It's a real country, with sovereignety given in 1929 by Mussolini (Latrean treaties), and it's represented in United Nations.
