pathfinder speaks a part truth. Yes, sometimes complicated features have a higher chance of issues, but you don't want to buy something cheap and nasty. It's usually the middle of the range you need to worry about, like the motorola v3x. The company tries to cram as much marketable technology into a reasonably priced package, and they skimp on detail. Trust me, I work for a telecommunications company, and it is this middle market that sees most warranty claims and returns. If you want something with fm, it almost has to be either Nokia or Sony Ericsson. I reckon go for something like the Nokia N70, it has fm, music, and BT. And if you have BT, who needs infared? Then again, my logic suggests that if you have mp3, why want fm? I would recommend sony ericsson but they never have large screens. I got the new Nokia N80, it has a crisp large screen, BT, music player, but no IR or FM, unless I just haven't bothered to use the FM lol.

Really depends on the money that you want to put in -

Personal favourite - Nokia 3250

Other phones matching ur criteria -
nokia 3230, 7700, 7710, ngage (new version)

Not all Nseries have IR, but again a good choice if you want a music/mutlimedia phone -

I like nokia's but Motorola ROKR E2 is also a good phone matching ur specs. I suggest go with Nokia -

You do realize that these additonal services are NOT free, and is tacked on to the bill. Also be advised that the more things a phone can do, the more likely something is going to give out quicker. That is why I have just the basic features on my cell phone.
