I've actually seen documentaries on this, and a lot of people swear they get results doing this -- but that's too weird even for me! But, then again, if you've tried EVERYTHING else with no results, and you're dying, anyhow, what's to lose?
If you have a recent diagnosis and are looking for alternative therapies, I would suggest that you try (in the following order or all at once -- up to you):
1. Homeopathy (www.homeopathy.org to find a homeopath)
2. Herbals (www.trininityschool.org to find a naturopath)
3. Acupuncture
4. Essential Oils
5. Reiki
6. Sound Energy
7. Crystal therapy
8. Massage
9. Any other "weird" thing you can find that doesn't look, sound, or taste like it would be worse than drinking your own urine.

This is a question that you really should ask a professional. You shouldn't take anyone's opinion as fact. Unless a doctor is answering your question on this site, and I highly doubt that anyone here is a doctor, you should ignore all the advice given here and stay away from crack-pot websites advocating the use of urine as a "cure-all" for diseases.
Unknown to many people is the fact that urine is not toxic to the human system. It does contain waste products, but there are also large amounts of nutrients (i.e.: amino acids) excreted in urine as well. However, as I have never seen any major clinical studies involving urine therapy as a cure for cancer, I would be highly skeptical to advise any type of treatment such as this for cancer.
Go to this site: http://www.cancer.gov/ It is the National Cancer Institute. Ask them your question and see what they tell you. Then go and talk to a doctor who specializes in cancer treatments.
Good luck!

Your body passes toxic poisons to your bladder to be expelled.
So if the cure for cancer is death by poisoning then it works.
I have heard that some chemicals expelled from the body via Urinary tract are able to be extracted and these can help with curing some problems.
Leave it to the Scientist to do that.
Just dont drink your own urine without the proper methods of distilling it.
Water can be extracted by filtration for persons dying of thirst.
Last case scenario situation there.
I dont think unfiltered Urine has any good effects at all.

I have heard that too! I have a friend who used a friend's urine to treat a jellylfish sting at the beach and it worked. I have heard quite a lot about drinking your own urine, but if it didn't work, I would certainly be a bit pissed.

First of all do NOT attempt to drink your own urine. It is very bad, almost toxic if taken in large amounts. Stick to water and a good diet.

Well, death cures everything, they say. No, urine is waste material. The body got rid of it because it did not want it. One of the reasons we have such a heavy taboo about waste material is that it can make you very sick, possibly even poison you.

If it so there would have no need of any treatment. People talk like anything if they get listeners.
One in 100 finds his urine as his medicine in minor disorders like constipation. All other claims are just folk tales.

If your urine was so good for you, why did your body expell it?
