Hollywood is already running out of ideas for new films, people have a hard time sticking with the same partner for as little as 50 years, so if you were immortal, wouldnt you eventually run out of things to do and because you were too "yellow" to kill yourself, would eventually go mad like in Teenage Caveman? How many things can you find to do in a billion years, a trillion?

Andy ff, the subconscious forgets nothing. Not only that, there is a limit to the different types of things. there may be lots of movies but eventually movies in general will get boring, this is why computer games are always evolving because of the need for fresh stimulation, not just because they can.

Dump You wont get bored over such a short time but the reality is that even after a few hundred thousand years you would start to get bored, its physically impossible not to, on earth or in some world after death (which cant exist for that reason)

There are so many millions of things to do and places to visit and people to help, and they're ever changing, that I can't imagine ever becoming bored. There is a fantastic book titled THE IMMORTAL that would make a great movie. The story revolves around a loving couple, one who is dying, the other, of course, seeking answers to prevent her demise. Along the way they meet an immortal and learn the answers to who or what we are and why we exist.

No. Because many of the things you've enjoyed in the past you'll enjoy again because we tend to forget alot. The mind can only hold so much and there are far more experiences out there to explore than it can handle.
Plus everything around us is constantly changing so life 1,000 years and definitely a billion or trillion years from now will be totally different than it is now.

I have a hard enough time staying occupied in this short life span, so yes, earthly imortality holds no appeal to me - and before people tell me to reach out and help others - that is how I spend the majority of my day - so it isn't that I get bored doing it, I don't - and I do crafts that go to others, etc in the evenings and I'm exceptionally pleased with my faith relationship with Jesus Christ and the many people he sends my way to reach out to and I stay quite active for one in my physical condition - so, I really don't have a lot of time for boredom, but I'm glad our lives are limited as I would hate the aging process to continue forever and ever and continue to cut down on the accomplishment I feel I make each day through the grace of God. My eternity of immortality in praising my Savior doesn't strike me as ever being boring, because I don't ever get bored of that here - so, I look forward to that time - but immortality on earth - no thank you!

I am not bored at all. I find it all intriguing, no matter how many millennia I pass through.

No way. Ever heard of nostalgia? It would come infinitely pleasant as time would go by.
