I have been out with poor people before, but to be honest it did nothing for me. I sat in all ther time, went hungry and didn't enjoy it at all. Then i had my well off lover and it has been great, I have nothing against dating poor people but i want a good quality life so wouldn't date another one.

I want a family that both me and my partner can provide for, not some lazy slob that can't hold down a job and lives on benefits. Although i have to say the sex was beter with the poor guys i dated.

Well, since you don't know if you're going to fall in love with someone when you first meet him (I don't mean that emotional passion people mistake for "love at first site"), if your goal is to live comfortably, then you may only date those individuals who can help you achieve that. I did that "money doesn't matter", I had money, he didn't, and after 12 years of marriage he fought (and lost) for all of my pre-marital assets, which was about 60% of our total net worth, since he burned through money like no tomorrow. So now if I only date people who have comfortable livings, I reduce the possibility of having another "goldie digger" lookin' for me.

That not true! Money isn't altogether imortant in an realationship. Exspecially not in love! LOVE & MONEY hmph! And I don't fall in love with rich guys. I always thought they were SNOBS!! So do answer your question. #1. It isn't, maybe for you though. #2. Not all of us particuarly like the look of fur on me.

Surely you must know some poor people who are in love. They are everywhere. If someone wants to date someone rich its their choice and if you are poor then you lose out.

For me... Money is not important if you love somebody.... when you love someone... you must accept her/him even if she/he is poor or rich...

Well, when I started dating my husband he didn't have a dime to his name and he still doesn't....lol, but I still love him. I'm not one of those gold diggers that think money is going to make me happy. If I'm not in love with him, I'm not going to be with him. No amount of money is going to make me happy with someone if I don't truly love them.
