That's amazing! I'm so happy for you. I've been fantasizing about how I would tell my partner for the last 6months of trying! If you are unsure how he will take it start by listing the positives of having a baby then guage his response. If he agrees then "drop the bomb!" If it's negative then ask why and let him know those are all issues you can work through together because he's not the first to be in that position and many a happy father have been made from this exact circumstance!!! Good luck, babe!

There are a few great ways...
Gift wrap the pregnancy test in a box and present it to him.
Give him a card that says "Congratulations!" When he asks what for, tell him "Congratuations! You're gonna be a daddy!"
Buy him a bunch of pink and blue carnations.
However you tell him, Good luck and prayers for a healthy and happy pregnancy!

OMG Congrats.. I am so happy for you!! There is nothing more amazing then having a baby.. as far as telling him.. when your laying in bed before going to sleep..lay his hand on your tummy and ask him what names he would like.. its the perfect time to break the news cause your comfortable.. its quite and there will be no phone calls or anything to distract you both.. and nothing is more intimate or special as quite whispers in the night.

Either take him out to dinner or make him a nice home cooked meal. Afterward, give him a pacifier that you wrapped up in a little box like a gift. It'll take him a minute to figure it out....but it'll register. Congratulations!! You're going to be a momma!!

Crack him upside the head with a box of condoms?
I'm kidding. Congratulations to you both. How about wrapping up some baby shoes, and giving them to him?
Or just slip his new name into the conversation. Call him 'Dad'. When he looks at you funny, give him a smile. He'll know.

Maybe say " What would you like for Father's Day?".
Congratulations! There's nothing - NOTHING - in the world like being a parent.

Congratulations!! This is our first baby, too. When I wanted to tell my fiance, I bought this cute little onesie that says "i love daddy" on it and gave it to him as part of his birthday present.
