I would take it as the dream was to good and I didn't want to wake up or I was so tired and I had a hard time waking up. If you almost die in your sleep you would not know you did? What do you think?

All three. I have chronic fatigue conditions that I will wake up and literally be too tired to get the neural relays to require my body to move. My father just had an aorta pump heart attack - one where the heart floods itself in blood - most people don't wake up from this type as it is relatively painless, but he did, otherwise he would have died in his sleep. Sometimes dreaming will have us in a situation, that we actually have a sleep paralysis, or desire to complete the dream and therefore when we wake up we are actually delayed in our body's response to the fact that our brain is trying to engage the body in alertness.

It could be a dream or it could be a sleep disorder. Have them check with their doctor just to be on the safe side.

That's happened to me many times.....I heard this medium say once that when that happens, you're having an out of body experience(I'm not sure if that's true or not..).It could be a physical matter...
