Why would you say we're being defensive? I'm not being defensive. Why do you think I need cheering up? Has someone said something about me?

I know what you mean, I once posted a question asking if anyone needed a hug and why? It got reported and removed!
I guess some people feel that they satisfy their need for significance by being an A$$HOLE!
I am sure that you are a caring person who genuinely wants to cheer people up, be satisfied therfore that you are a good and decent person and you are helping to make the world a better place by being you!

Because rude and defensive people don't do light hearted, the more like you the better! Do not be deterred,we outnumber the miserable ones. Laugh and the world laughs with you! Some people would fall out with their own shadows.

I'm not sure hon ! I wrote out a poem that had been sent to me by my sister entitled ONE FOR THE GIRLS . I posted it on jokes and I received a very rude and offencive (to me) E mail saying I had issues with my sexuality, personally I didn't think that I was being offencive to men I think that person shouldn't have looked at the joke site, not without a sense of humour.... I enjoy all Q and I love some of the light hearted answers too. x

Maybe they are unhappy with there lives. Think about it... if you are at home and all you do is answer these stupid questions instead of going outside and enjoying the world and meeting new and interesting people then I think most answers would be harsh and cruel. But for those people who respond positively maybe they are the ones who only visit this site sometimes to pass the time while they are waiting to go outside and enjoy the world.

Some people are only happy when they have something to b*tch about. You probably made a lot of peoples day - they can now feel smug at how cleverly they 'shot you down'.

Some people can't handle others being nice so they lash out at them. These type of people have been hurt too many times so their guard is up! It isn't you.

hhuummm.... doesn't it depend on the type of question and how you put it? I mean, what may seem light hearted to you may actually be perceived as an insult to another.
