We don't like attacking others. We do however jump in "over there" rather than fight it here. Fighting there keeps you safe here! Be glad we are doing it over there as it could very easily be your family dying if it were here. Think about it. We are the greatest and most generous nation on the planet. There are a lot of people that resent us for that. Ask why did we jump on Afghanistan? The answer you quickly get is they were hiding the terrorist groups that were attacking us like cowards using our innocent Americans and our airplanes to kill us (World Trade Center). Why did we attack Iraq? They invaded one of our allies (Kuwait) which we had priorly promised to defend. To answer are afraid of Israel. Of course not! If we wanted to hurt Israel all we would have to do is quit sending money. Israel is our largest subsidized nation in the world. We send them equivalent to 200,000 dollars in money and weapons per man, woman, and child in Israel. Look it up and you'll find it true! Why do we do it? Because all of the Muslim countries around them have a hatred for them that is religous based and goes back thousands of years. Their neighbors would like nothing more than to see them wiped off the face of the earth. Do I agree with the amount of money and weapons we send to Isreal? No! Do I want to see them all dead...No! It's the lesser of evils.

Gee...maybe you need to brush up a little on your history?

I don't think you can show a time the US has "attacked" anyone who had not already attacked us or our interests or an ally that requested our help. In fact, we have a long history of not responding soon enough. Which, I guess, is a good thing...although Great Britain sure didn't think so in 1939, 1940, or 1941.

Actually we did not attack Viet-Nam, we took over a war the French were already losing. As usual.

Afghanistan was warrented. We were attacked by people the government was supporting first.

i do not imagine all and sundry is annoyed with u.s., i'm from the united kingdom and picture the U. S. is a staggering position, and the people are only like everywhere else, undesirable and solid. The U.S. has a hawk foreign policy. The U.S. isn't afraid of Israel, they are protective. Israel is the United States' only other ally in the middle east. (the other being Saudi Arabia)
