It's a beautiful name, but if you've ever watched Rugrats, it might suggest superficiality. Rugrats is a Nickoloden show; and Angelica is a bossy three year old who loves to torment her younger cousin and be demanding to her parents. Everytime I see a girl named Angelica, I think of that!

I love it, I almost named my daughter that. We wanted a name that included the word angel somewhere in it.
We tossed up :
Angelica
Angelique
Angelina
We finally decided on Evangeline. I just love the name Angelica, I am pregnant again and would love to call her Angelica if it was a girl, but I think it would be weird to have two kids with similar names, so I need to think up another name just incase it is a girl. We don't watch TV, so I didn't even know what the rugrats names were, so glad I didn't.

I think it's great.
I never watched Rugrats and we named my eldest Angelica. I don't think a silly kids cartoon should make you change your mind on a name.
We call her Jelly.

I always think of the old actress Angelica Houston (she used to date Jack Nicolson).
It's an okay name. She will probably be called Angie for short.

i love it.
i read some of your other answers about the girl from the rugrats cartoon.. i'm am young enough to have watched it when it first came out, but i'm old enough to have appreciated the name long before seeing it on the cartoon :)
so.. it's beautiful. i've known a couple of ppl with that name, and they were also beautiful in their own right, so.. i think the name itself inspires the child with it to have a certain type of social grace.

This is a very nice name. I have a Cousin with this name and she have a great personality and character.
